2017 Great American Cleanup of PA Video Contest
Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful is announcing our Great American Cleanup of Pennsylvania Video Contest. Send us a 2-minute video (made within a year) of your Great American Cleanup of PA event. (Any videos over 2 minutes long will be disqualified.) We want to see individuals, groups, children, and adults having fun making your communities clean and beautiful! Include music, be creative, and have fun! Events can include, but are not limited to:
- Community cleanups
- Plantings and beautification efforts
- Community recycling efforts
- Community education
- Other ways to make your community clean, beautiful and vibrant
Deadline to submit your video is Friday, June 2, 2017. Electronic submissions will be accepted by emailing to email@example.com. Entry form information is required in the email. If submitting your video by CD, send your CD and completed entry form to:

Vote for Your Favorite Video – Voting Begins on Facebook Monday, June 12, 2017.
The top 5-10 videos will be posted on Facebook to be voted on. Visit our Facebook page beginning Monday, June 12th to vote for your favorite entry. Voting will conclude on Thursday, June 22nd at 3 PM. Winners will be announced on Friday, June 23rd on Facebook.
The winning entry will receive a $200 cash prize. Two runners up will receive $100 each. The winning entries will also be featured on Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful’s YouTube page. Cash prizes are sponsored by Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association. All videos and images submitted become the property of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful and may be published. By submission of your video, you are acknowledging permission from all participants. You must be 18 years or older to submit a video. Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful reserves the right to screen all entries for inclusion. CD’s will not be returned.
2016 Great American Cleanup of PA Video Contest Winners
The winning entry was submitted by Lake Frederick Homeowners Association in Millerstown, Perry County for removal of floating debris as well as other trash that makes its way to the islands via the Susquehanna River. Runners up were Saint Luke School in Erie, Erie County and Everett Middle School in Everett, Bedford County. Students of Saint Luke both submitted educational video about recycling video and pledged to do their part to keep Pennsylvania beautiful.
2015 Great American Cleanup of PA Video Contest Winners
The winning entry was submitted by Tri-County Community Action for the Great Harrisburg Cleanup. Runners up were Fayette County Cultural Trust’s Connellsville Cleanup and Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor for their Earth Day Cleanup.
2014 Great American Cleanup of PA Video Contest Winners
The winning entry was submitted by Clean and Green Harrisburg with Tri-County Community Action in Dauphin County. Runners up were the Academy Neighborhood Cleanup of Erie and the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy in Montgomery County.
2013 Great American Cleanup of PA Video Contest Winners
The winning entry was submitted by the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy in Montgomery County. Runners up were the Harrisburg Young Professionals in Dauphin County and local residents of the community of East Rochester in Beaver County.
